Ivan Falzon appointed as new Labour Party CEO

The Labour Party said Friday it has appointed Ivan Falzon as Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment will start with immediate effect.

Falzon will be replacing Leonid McKay who was appointed CEO at Transport Malta.

Falzon has served as CEO of Infrastructure Malta, CEO of the Water Services Corporation and CEO of Mater Dei Hospital.

His leadership in various sectors has always been characterised by a serious and professional approach, excellent managerial skills and prioritizing innovation and efficiency, the party said.

The appointment of Ivan Falzon as Chief Executive shows the willingness of the Labour Party to continue renewing its structures, with the aim of "keeping this winning movement in a strong position to deliver more benefits for the Maltese and Gozitans".

The Labour Party thanked McKay for the "sterling work he has done in these past two years, highlighting his abilities to bring together all the talents within the party and his ability to lead major projects and initiatives that culminated in the last election campaign".
