Malta Public Transport said Tuesday it  will be organising special bus services for Isle of MTV Malta 2026, taking place on 22 July at the Granaries, Floriana. In order to provide a convenient transport option for those passengers attending this popular event, additional public transport services will operate after the concert, complementing the company's regular Night Route network, MPT said.

Extra trips will operate to a wide range of localities following the event, starting from 11pm, to major destinations such as Sliema, St Julian's, Qawra, Buġibba and Mellieħa. Additional services will also operate to Mosta, Rabat, Mtarfa, Żebbuġ, Marsaskala, Marsaxlokk, Birżebbuġa, Xgħajra and the Three Cities, ensuring convenient connections for passengers travelling across Malta.

These extra trips are additional to the regular Malta Public Transport Night services which already cover a number of localities, providing passengers with a range of travel options following the event.

Regular night services (N3, N13, N48, N52, N62, N71, N82 and N91) will continue to operate as per schedule, with a number of them also having additional services through the night.

All Tallinja Card holders can enjoy the Isle of MTV music festival with free travel on these special service trips as well as the regular night trips.  Customers are encouraged to check Malta Public Transport's website and social media platforms for updates on the service.
