A major emergency response is underway in Dingli after a fire broke out early this morning, heavily impacting a residential property and an attached garage.

The alert was raised at approximately 4:30am, drawing a significant deployment from the Civil Protection Department. Currently, 25 firefighters utilising nine fire appliances are on the scene battling the flames in the vicinity of Triq il-Buskett.

Police officers and a medical team from the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department are also on-site to support the ongoing operation and ensure area safety.

Fortunately, authorities have confirmed that no injuries have been reported thus far.

Members of the public are strongly advised to completely avoid Triq il-Buskett and the surrounding area, and to strictly follow all directions given by officials managing the scene.
