The Eden Leisure Foundation has officially opened applications for its 2027 programme of support, inviting registered voluntary organisations across Malta to submit proposals for projects that align with the Foundation's three core pillars: social and community advancement, environmental protection and animal welfare, and culture, arts and national heritage.
The Foundation welcomes applications for both financial and non-financial support, with the aim of developing meaningful partnerships with organisations whose work can create a positive and lasting impact. In 2025, the Foundation supported more than 40 organisations, while also providing in-kind assistance and helping divert hundreds of items from landfill through circularity initiatives.
For 2027, the Eden Leisure Foundation is inviting proposals for projects across its three areas of focus, from smaller initiatives to larger-scale community, environmental and heritage projects while extending support beyond financial contributions. It is also looking to develop partnerships that create opportunities for collaborative fundraising, staff volunteering, in-kind support, advertising and communications, educational and awareness-building initiatives, as well as opportunities for voluntary organisations to provide services or products to the Eden Leisure Group.
"We believe that meaningful support goes beyond simply providing a donation. The strongest partnerships are those where we can work together, share resources, engage our people and help organisations have a wider reach," said Kate de Cesare, Chairperson of the Eden Leisure Foundation.
"As we open applications for 2027, we are looking forward to discovering new projects and organisations that are making a real difference in our communities, protecting our environment and preserving Malta's heritage."
The Eden Leisure Foundation was established in 2024 as a dedicated advisory entity overseeing the philanthropic activities of the Eden Leisure Group. Applications for the 2027 programme are now open.
