Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) today unveiled the presenting trio for the 24th Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Thestage will be hosted by broadcaster Keane Cutajar alongside the nation's two historic Junior Eurovision winners: Gaia Cauchi and Destiny.
Gaia Cauchi, who captured Malta's first-ever Junior Eurovision title in 2013, and Destiny, who secured the nation's second victory in 2015, will return to the very contest that launched their international careers.
This October, their role shifts from competitors to custodians of the flame, PBS said. As mentors on The Voice Kids Malta 2026, they are currently shaping the next generation of Maltese talent, and on 24 October, they will stand on the stage at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC) to present to us 16 young acts from across Europe as they begin their own extraordinary journeys.
"Coming full circle is a rare privilege," said CEO Inġ Keith Chetcuti. "To have our greatest champions standing as hosts, while simultaneously mentoring the next generation, perfectly embodies the spirit of Junior Eurovision. They are the living bridge between Malta's legacy and the bright future of European music."
They will be joined by acclaimed broadcaster Keane Cutajar, whose dynamic presence and proven on-screen chemistry with the duo-forged during the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026-ensure a world-class production.
This year's edition will be staged under the creative theme "The festa" a vibrant celebration to Malta's deeply rooted village tradition. It promises to bring the energy, warmth, and collective joy of a Maltese community celebration to an international audience of millions.
Junior Eurovision 2026 takes place on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at the MFCC in Ta' Qali.
