Malta Public Transport has said that it will be operating special bus services for Notte Bianca, one the country's biggest annual arts and culture festivals, being held this Saturday 3 October 2026 in Valletta.
Malta Public Transport said in a statement that it will be once again supporting this event by providing an extensive range of special services routes to facilitate passenger transport from different areas of the island, together with the regular night routes which are operated daily.
Popular localities will be served until late in the night.
Late-night departures from Valletta serve Sliema and St Julian's (Route N13 with trips every four minutes until 2.10am), Buġibba via Msida, Pembroke, Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq and Qawra (N48 with regular services until 1.30am), and Mġarr via Birkirkara, Ħal Lija, Ħal Balzan and Mosta (S40 route with last departure 1.35am).
Routes covering the south of the island, including those terminating in Qrendi (S72), Birżebbuġa (S80 and S85), Marsaskala (S90) and Xgħajra (S94), and passing through Luqa, Kirkop, Mqabba, Santa Luċija, Gudja, Tarxien, Żejtun, Paola, Fgura and Żabbar, will operate trips at least until 1am.
For passaengers crossing to Gozo, Route S41 trips to Ċirkewwa will depart Valletta until 1.30am.
These services will be free of charge for passengers with a personalised Tallinja Card, other passengers can purchase €3 tickets direcly onboard, paying in cash or contactless.
