The CRC has invested a substantial amount of money in the restoration of the auberge. It believes it should be used as a tourist attraction and therefore the theme of the museum must be attractive to foreigners.

The CRC referred to its previous proposals to turn the auberge into an ethnography museum or one that displays traditional Maltese costumes and has urged Heritage Malta to discuss the theme of the museum before taking a decision.

The CRC also suggested that a ticketing system, together with information brochures, should be introduced for all Cottonera museums, both private and public.
