60 Second Interview - Marika Mercieca

Marika Mercieca (a.k.a. Fenech) lives in Maghtab with her husband Edward, her children Edward, Luke and Sarah and their two cats MacCavity and Kuddles. Marika has been acting since the age of 13 and her roles have included Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Adriana in Comedy of Errors and Ariel in The Tempest, as well as other dramatic plays, comedies and pantos. She also starred in the Vagina Monologues as well as Alison in the TV Series Dejjem Tieghek Becky. Marika co-runs the franchise for Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools in Malta and FM Theatre Productions, a company that has a string of successes to its name including Chicago, A Slice of Saturday Night, The Vagina Monologues, The Wiz, Look No Hans! and Stones in His Pockets. She is executive producer for the musical Honk! – the story of the Ugly Duckling which will be running at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on 3, 4 and 5 November.

Relaxing a LOT more!

A peaceful existence.

Running Stagecoach.

Bad health for me and my family.

Loyalty.

Quickly!

I don’t have any!

Not having gone to University.

possession?

Definitely my family.

Singing.

Loneliness.
