Comedy At Corinthia Hotel, Attard

Malta Independent Monday, 8 May 2006, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

The Activities and Sports Committee of the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard will be presenting Nista’’ Nkun Jien, a hilarious comedy play for all the family, on Friday. The proceeds of this play will go towards a charitable cause.

The performance will take place at the Chameleon Hall of the Corinthia Palace Hotel and will start at 8pm. Doors will open at 7pm and guests are urged to be seated by 7.45pm. Tickets are available from the hotel reception desk.

All the actors taking part in the play are employees of the Corinthia Palace.

All funds collected will be in aid of “Beyond the moon”, an international non-profit charitable association that aids seriously ill children by giving them and their immediate families a fully paid-up holiday in a child-friendly destination such as Disneyland.

This affords the children the opportunity of spending valuable quality time with their loved ones, in what could well be their last real vacation together. This charity has been adopted by The Corinthia Hotels International as its “Community Partner” throughout its 20 hotels in 11 destinations.

Proceeds from the Nista’ Nkun Jien performance will be pooled with funds raised from the hotel’s ongoing in-house campaign, enabling Corinthia Palace to nominate a Maltese child suffering from a life-threatening disease to enjoy a completely cost-free and carefree holiday for him and his family, far away from hospitals and daily treatments.
