She also took part in the musical Chicago a few years ago. Emma is the choreographer of FM Theatre Productions’ mega-concert, entitled Vocal Aid, which includes the participation of the Stagecoach Kidz, and is due to be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on Saturday 27 May at 7.30pm and Sunday 28 May at 5pm.

n How old are you? Star sign and date of birth?

Nearly 27. Taurus. 16 May 1979.

n Significant other?

New husband Robert. I’m still very excited. It’s only been two-and-a-half weeks!

n What would you like to be doing in 10 years’ time?

You can never know what’s around the corner… So as long as I’m happy, I’ll go with the flow.

n What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Good food, good wine and great company!

n What is your favourite occupation?

Teaching dance. I’m very lucky that I really enjoy my job. I get to meet so many creative young people. It’s wonderful to see them grow and gain

confidence to be themselves.

n What is your greatest fear?

Loneliness. And spiders!

n What is it that you most value in your friends?

Honesty and a good sense of humour.

n How would you like to die?

At the exact same time as everyone I love and preferably without pain!

n What is your greatest extravagance?

My husband would say shoes or bags, but I have far more earrings! I can’t resist. The problem is I wear the same pair until I get new ones, then I rarely wear them again.

n What is your greatest regret?

I don’t have any. There isn’t much point.

n What is your most treasured possession?

My family – the one I was born into, and my selected family here in Malta.

n Which talent would you most like to have apart from the ones you already have?

Psychic ability, so I can predict the winning lottery numbers!

n What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Having never experienced the feeling of love. Or finding myself face to face with the world’s hairiest spider without anyone to save me.

n Where would you like to live?

Anywhere as long as it’s with my husband Rob and a phone to call my mum.

n What is your most marked characteristic?

My very hard head, covered in rather bright orange hair!

n Who are your heroes/ heroines in real life?

My parents. They’ve always supported me in whatever I wanted to do and they gave me the courage and strength to follow my heart when my head strongly protested.

n What do you most dislike?

People that are fake. I also hate mushrooms… why would you want to eat fungus?

n What is your motto?

Something my nana used to say: It will either rain or go dark before morning.
