A young man was stabbed late on Monday night, following an argument with a young woman in an apartment in Gzira.

The police said that on Monday at 11.30pm it was informed that two people were involved in a heated argument in an apartment in Testaferrata Street.

The young man was afterwards taken to hospital, where he was found to be suffering from slight injuries caused by a pointed instrument.

The woman also sustained slight injuries in the course of the argument, the police said.
