Following the signing of the “Interconnect” agreement between Melita Cable, Maltacom and Go Mobile, as well as Vodafone, Melita Cable’s engineers are currently undertaking intensive technical testing and trials with Maltacom to ensure normal two-way service between Melita’s “Hello” subscribers and Maltacom’s fixed line numbers.

Ing. Philip Micallef, Melita’s CEO confirmed that the company is making exhaustive technical tests together with Maltacom, to ensure that a full normal service will be in place within days so that subscribers to Melita’s “Hello” service with the prefix 27, can contact and be contacted by Maltacom’s Fixed Line subscribers.

The interconnect service between Go Mobile and Vodafone is already in operation.
