Five years ago, APS Bank embarked on the sponsorship of a four-year cultural project consisting of four concerts that focused on 18th, 19th and 20th century sacred music.

Encouraged by its highly-successful initial four-year concert project, and as part of its ongoing commitment towards Maltese society and its cultural heritage, APS Bank has decided to organise another four year cycle of annual concerts.

This year, the bank will be sponsoring another Grand Mass of the 19th Century which will be held at St John’s co-Cathedral on Friday, 1 December, starting at 7.30pm and lasting about 90 minutes. The concert, which will be directed by Rev. Mro John Galea under the patronage of His Grace the Archbishop of Malta, will feature a Messa Grande for soloists, chorus and orchestra by Giuseppe Spiteri Fremond (1804-1878).
