Ray Muscat from Swieqi was simply incredulous when one morning he got a phone call from DJ Carlo Borg Bonaci and was informed that he had 24 hours in which to collect and present up to Lm1,000 worth of receipts and bills that Nescafé Cappuccino and XFM radio would pay. Surely enough, Mr Muscat managed to present Lm896.36 worth of receipts and bills thus being the first lucky winner of the competition Inti Tonfoq…Ahna Nhallsu.

The competition, hosted on the Nescafé Big Breakfast Show with DJ Carlo Borg Bonaci drew ample listenership from the public not only through the popularity of DJ Carlo Borg Bonaci but also due to the originality and attractive prize involved. In fact, the second leg of this exciting competition will bring a second winner during the month of February.

“The campaign, which started in December was to date extremely successful. By being the first lucky winner of this competition, Mr Muscat not only had an amazing start to his day with Nescafé Cappuccino and XFM, but also a promising start to his year!” commented a spokesperson for Nestlé Malta Limited. “We are now looking forward to announcing the second lucky winner this coming February.”

Participation is very simple. To participate, one needs to visit www.xfmmalta.com to download and fill a form which together with an empty sachet of Nescafé Cappuccino has to be sent to the following address: The XFM/Nescafé Competition, PO Box 9, St Julian’s. During the Nescafé Big Breakfast Show, DJ Carlo Borg Bonaci will randomly call two registered listeners and inform them that they have up to 24 hours to present up to Lm1,000 worth of receipts and bills (spread over a minimum of five receipts). Competitors must be over 18 years of age and the bills must be dated from 13th December 2006 onwards.
