A man was yesterday conditionally discharged for 15 months after pleading guilty to damaging three cars in Birkirkara on the night between 17 and 18 May 2006.

Joseph Briffa, 55, from Birkirkara, pleaded guilty to damaging a Honda Civic, a Ford Laser and a Mazda 323 in Triq il-Qattus in Birkirkara.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano discharged the man on condition that he does not commit another crime within 15 months.

Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted while Dr Chris Cardona appeared for the accused.
