The Malta Union of Bank Employees said it was still working on several pending issues such as work-life balance, draft proposals for collective agreement negotiations and child care facilities for the managerial and clerical categories of employees at Bank of Valletta.

MUBE said it would continue to work irrespective of any recognition claims since the time factor was essential, as was evident in the recent agreement on child care prior to the next scholastic year.

MUBE said the scheme as proposed by it was similar to the one already agreed between MUBE and another bank.
