The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures abd Commerce is holding the seventh Young Musicians Contest between 18 and 26 October, for the strings, woodwind and brass instruments for mature (those who will have not reached the age of 30 years on the 31st August, 2007) and promising candidates (those who will have note reached the age of 17 years of age on 31 August.

The London college of Music, Karta Converters Ltd and the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts are sponsoring the event.

The Overall Wiiner of the Contest will be presented with a trophy and benefit from a fortnight’s scholarship at the London College of Music at Thames University in London.

Prizes will be awarded for the first three classified in each Category.

Regulations and Application Forms may be obtained from the Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta from Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm.
