It was a happy 10th for Capital Radio 88.7FM last July 5th, when the radio station celebrated its big event with a great party.

Big Night Out was held at the Sky Club, St Julians where listeners who flocked to join in and dance the night away in the company of all Capital Radio’s presenters.

It wasn’t just about dancing to fave music tracks but also about enjoying two extraordinary guest appearances by international Eighties stars – UK singer Samantha Fox, as well as singer FR David whose most popular songs Words and I Need You are still played widely even today.

Capital Radio’s Renald Bugeja commented, “It was an exceptional evening and our guests went wild when the foreign artists made their entrance on stage. We are very happy that we had such a strong attendance and thank everybody for joining in.

Certainly 10 years in a long time and we successfully managed to establish our radio station and clinch great popularity.”
