VIEVE! The new four-piece girl group from MALTA are bringing their brand of Modern Pop Rock back home with the release of the debut single Simple Pop on July 28th.

VIEVE! consists of Lyndsay Pace 18, Marilena Gauci 16, Marilyn Mifsud 19 and Francesca Galea 16.

Simple Pop is an irresistible slice of fun and funky pop rock that lays the foundations for their debut album that will see the light of day next year. Ridiculously catchy and coming in at an all too short 2 minutes 50 seconds Simple Pop shows off the individual vocal characteristics of the group to brilliant effect.

The style of VIEVE! is Spice Girls meets Garbage meets Sugababes meets Blondie meets All Saints meets Girls Aloud over a game of pool.

VIEVE! are no ordinary girl group. Marilena is a main grade piano player and Marilyn is a saxophonist. Vocal wise, Francesca has the soul sound, Lyndsay is Miss Versatility, Marilena has the husky tones and Marilyn has the jazz purr thanks to too many late nights listening to Ella Fitzgerald.

The group is sassy and cool with charisma and class!

The song is a pop nugget co-written by the Grammy award winner Thomas Ahlstrand the Swedish producer/songwriter famous for his work on American Idol and on the last Lutricia McNeil album.

VIEVE! are managed by Richard Rogers former A&R Manager and songwriter at Warner/Chappell, BBC, IMN, EMAP, Music2deal.com who also co-wrote and co-produced Simple Pop.
