The Farsons Great Beer Festival kicked off its first weekend with superb performances, animated children’s activities and entertainment, making the event a special occasion for the visitor, children and families.

The festival is being held at Ta’ Qali Park and runs until Sunday. Entrance and parking are free and doors open at 8pm.

Tonight, the Main Stage and the Rock Stage will be attracting hundreds of visitors to watch the live performances by leading singers and bands. Thea and Friends will be opening the show on the Main Stage followed by Spiteri Lucas Band and Showbiz High, while the bands Pitch 99, Cumshaft and Muzzle will perform on the Rock Stage, hosted by XFM Radio.

The line-up for the next two days is as follows:

Tuesday, 29 July: Carrie, Cash Band (Pink Floyd Tribute Night)

Rock Stage: Tomorrow, 28 July: Shiloo’s Tree, No Snow No Alps, Chasing Pandora
