Floriana FC yesterday announced that national team defender Brian Said had joined their squad on a permanent basis.

Said is one of the most experienced players at both local and international levels, having also played on several occasions for Malta.

Said is not new to the Floriana clan, since he previously donned the green and white shirt prior to joining Sliema Wanderers.

His latest club was Marsaxlokk who were demoted to the First Division.
