The Malta Hospice Movement is presenting a contemporary art exhibition by Mark Pullicino at the Hilton Malta between 5-28 June, with proceeds being in aid of the free-of-charge palliative care services given to Hospice patients and their families.
Mark Pullicino was born in Mdina, and sold his first paintings in a souvenir shop there. He has since lived abroad for many years and attended Glasgow School of Art courses. He has previously exhibited his work in Scotland (Glasgow and Strathpeffer). He recently returned to live in Malta, and in this first exhibition he has been re-discovering the images, colour and warmth of his homeland.
