A Sudanese man was given a two-year jail term suspended for four years yesterday, after he pleaded guilty to seriously injuring another man in a fight in November last year.
Eduard Omaru, 22, was charged with punching Imoru Finest Musa in a fight in Qawra. He was also charged with disturbing the peace.
The court was presided by Magistrate Miriam Hayman. Police Inspector Therese Sciberras prosecuted and lawyer Joe Mifsud appeared for the accused.
