The police have arrested 14 men and three women found to be in possession of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis during a party at an entertainment venue in Ta’ Qali on Sunday night.

The police said the ages of those arrested varies between 19 and 41, and they are residents of Swieqi, St Paul’s Bay, Żabbar, Sliema, Siġġiewi, Qormi, Tarxien, Cospicua, St Julian’s, Vittoriosa and Nadur. They include a Libyan citizen, a Maltese citizen living in the US and an Irish citizen living in Malta.

Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
