A total of 30 girls will be competing for the title of Miss World Malta after having been chosen to represent their individual localities. The final contest will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on 14 April.

Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja, under the organisation of Modelle International, will be responsible for organising the event, and Jes Sciberras will choreograph the dance routine for the spectacular opening act.

Various brands will be showing their collection for the coming season in a fashion show.

The finalists will be judged not only on their appearance on the final night but also on their personality one week before in another round of auditioning.

Once again this year, the activity Beauty with a Purpose is being dedicated to the largest children’s home on the Island run by the Ursuline sisters. All the contestants have made a donation to help the home with its special needs.

Following the event, all the models will have the opportunity to appear in the fashion and beauty television programme ORDOS 2012 Miss World Malta, presented by Claudia Dalli and produced by Modelle International. The programme will be featured on Net TV every Saturday at 8.30pm, leading up to the final of the Miss World contest in August in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.
