The Technical Regulations Division of the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority said consumers should be aware of a recall order about an electrical adaptor branded ‘Samsonite’: J332/Model 3172, Barcode: 5 411501 335570.

The product, which poses a risk of electrical shock, is deemed not complying with the relevant regulations and standards.

Consumers having bought the adaptor are to refrain from using the product and are urged to return it. Should consumers have any concerns regarding the safety of the product or any other consumer products, they may contact the Technical Regulations Division on telephone number 2395-2000.
