Members of the Civil Protection Department were called to extinguish a car fire which broke out early this morning in San Xmun Street, Fgura.

The fire, which extensively damaged the vehicle, also destroyed both the front door of a nearby residence and garage. 

No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Magistrate Miriam Hayman appointed various experts to assist her in the inquiry.

Police are investigating.
