The verdict in the trial by jury of a man charged with the murder of a Gozitan lawyer is expected Tuesday.

Mr Justice Lawrence Quintano spent six hours addressing jurors Monday and jurors expressed themselves too tired to start deliberations, obtaining permission from the court for them to start considering the case Tuesday.

David Zerafa, 39, of Nadur, is standing trial by jury for the murder of lawyer Michael Grech in 2004.
