A man and a woman were arrested shortly after the police were informed that two persons were robbing vehicles today, September 24, 2013, at about 4 a.m., in Triq il-Burdnar, Qormi.

Members of the Rapid Intervention Unit, who were the first on site, found the couple in the vicinity of four cars which had been broken into.

The man, 35, of Birkirkara, and the woman, 29, of Fgura, were arrested for further investigation.
