The weather was not so good for Carnival yesterday, but colour was still dominating the the streets of Valletta and other localities where the event is celebrated. In particular, Nadur was the centre of entertainment for the younger generations who gathered in their hundreds with their masks and fancy dress. But, as is normal, Valletta remained the focal point for festivities in Malta, with young and not so young dressing up for the occasion while many others visited the capital city to have a look at the floats.
