A total number of 35 cases of industrial action have been ordered in the health sector so far this year; 32 by MUMN, 1 by UHM and 2 by GWU. Last year, there was a total of 28 industrial action cases, again the majority by MUMN.  

Health minister Konrad Mizzi was replying to a parliamentary question submitted by Nationalist MP Claudio Grech. Coincidentally, the parliamentary health committee is today discussing such industrial action in the health sector.
