The underboob selfie is a new idea that is quickly mushrooming over the social media, international media report.

The new trend started the United States of America – a short T-shirt with overflowing breasts appearing underneath. Social networks are becoming increasingly invaded by these self-portraits, including from personalities well-known to the general public.

The new popular hashtag is # underboob and on social networks like Facebook and Twitter girls are uploading one image after another.

Before there was the "sideboob", but now there is "underboob", the term used for these ‘moments’ which, on the whole, those who upload them might live to regret.

That is perhaps why, in many circumstances, the face is not included in the photograph. But the identities of the people uploading such selfies cannot be hidden.

Children’s rights groups have issued warnings to parents to be in stricter control of what their young teenage girls are doing as they try to imitate VIPs.

The German government is already working on a law that will make it illegal to upload selfies that could be termed as scandalous.
