At the start of Parliament's business, Deputy Prime Minister Louis Grech moved a series of motions appointing various MPs on the government benches to various committees.

On a general basis, it would seem, the changes reflect the recent Cabinet reshuffle with some other changes.

Former minister Godfrey Farrugia has been appointed as head of the delegation to the Council of Europe while Charles Mangion has been appointed as PAC member.

Silvio Parnis has replaced Luciano Busittil as head of the committee for the consideration of bills.
