Fifteen new notaries received their warrant today in a ceremony presided over by Justice Minister Owen Bonnici.
During the ceremony, Dr Bonnici said that notaries occupied a very important role in society, and said that this role had to reflect the basic principles of honesty, loyalty and respect.
He also augured that the new notaries carried out their work with the dignity it deserved.
The minister also seized the opportunity to discuss recent developments relevant to notaries, pointing out that discussions were ongoing to provide them with access to the government’s common database (CdB).
