Nationalist Party deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami is abroad for unspecified medical treatment.

In a statement, the PN wished Dr Fenech Adami well and appealed for privacy.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anglu Farrugia, wished Dr Fenech Adami a speedy recovery.

The Labour Party and its parliamentary group, President Marie-Louise Coleiro and the General Workers Union issued a statement to wish him a speedy recovery.
