Boy testifies in case against MUSEUM member

The 10-year-old boy who was allegedly defiled by a member of the Society of Christian Doctrine (MUSEUM) at Bahar ic-Caghaq last week started giving evidence in court this morning.

The case against Anthony Callus, 46 of Siggiewi, is being heard behind closed doors.

Mr Callus, who is also an assistant head of school, is also charged with violent indecent assault, harassment and offending public morals.

A request for bail last Thursday was refused until witnesses are heard.
