President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca met hundreds of Maltese living in London at the Malta Day-UK event organised by the Maltese community in London.

Ms Coleiro Preca praised the community’s enthusiasm, and invited them to Malta for an event at the President’s palace.

The President expressed her appreciation at the fact that the Maltese living in England have not forgotten their roots, and organise activities such as the Malta Day-UK event in order to promote Maltese culture.

Ms Coleiro Preca attended an event at Westminster Cathedral where a number of Maltese products were on display.

The event was supported by the Maltese High Commissioner in London Norman Hamilton.
