Cost of living increase (COLA) set at 58c and not €1.16; the lowest it has been in years

It has been confirmed that the cost of living increase is set to be at €.0.58, and not €1.16, as previously reported. This is the lowest it has been in years.

A statement by the Labour Party confirmed media reports published earlier today, adding that the government has managed to control the inflation rate, however acknowledges that individuals are impacted by increased prices of goods, and this will be addressed in the upcoming budget.
