An armed and hooded man today held up the owner of a lotto booth in Fgura at 3.15 p.m. The owner is a 53 year old woman.

It has not yet been established how much money was stolen. Police patrols in the surrounding areas intensified.

The police are asking for anyone with information to come forward and all reports will be treated in the strictest confidence.
