The Office for Competition within the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority conducted an ex officio investigation in terms of Article 12(1) of the Competition Act regarding the increase in Church School transport fees by Coop Services Limited for the scholastic year 2016/17.

On the basis of all information available to the Office, there are no sufficient grounds to state that the prices are excessive and that Coop Services Limited has abused its dominant position in breach of Article 9 of the Competition Act.
