A court this morning continued hearing the compilation of evidence in the case against Andrew Mangion, the man charged with the murder of his estranged wife, Eleanor Mangion Walker, earlier this year.

Magistrate Doreen Clarke met the request by Dr Joe Giglio, representing the accused, for Eleanor Mangion Walker’s mobile phone to be examined.

Inspector Keith Arnaud took the stand, and presented the computer found in Andrew Mangion’s bedroom.

During the same search, five pen drives and an Acer laptop were also found.

Inspector Arnaud also presented an Apple laptop. The prosecution requested that an expert be nominated to examine the contents of the objects, and the court agreed, nominating expert Joseph Muscat to compile a report

The prosecution is led by Inspector Kylie Borg, and Dr Michael Sciriha is appearing for the Parte Civile.
