A 56-year-old woman from Dingli was seriously injured today when she lost control of her vehicle, which subsequently crashed into a wall.

The accident took place at 3:15pm in Triq Madalena, the police said.

The woman was driving a Toyota Vitz. She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

The police are investigating.
