A young man was seriously injured early this morning after the car he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a residence, the police said.

The accident happened at 12.30am in Church Street, St Paul’s Bay.

The 21-year-old Polish man, who resides in San Gwann, was driving a Citroen Xsara.

He was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
