The initial first count votes indicate that a number of PL ministers have been re-elected on the first count, such as Chris Fearne and Konrad Mizzi, while well known politicians like Beppe Fenech Adami and Mario de Marco have also done well to be re-elected in their respective districts.
Naturally, the highest number of votes was obtained by the two leaders, who were each elected from two districts.
Counting in all districts is still an ongoing process and not all first count results have come in.
District 1
In the 1st District, PN Deputy Leader Mario de Marco and Environment Minister Jose' Herrera have ran ahead of the pack and have both been elected.
PL candidate Aaron Farrugia has also gained a substantial amount of first count votes.
