Algerian man to be brought to Malta after falling ill on a fishing boat

An Algerian man who was working on a fishing boat is expected to be flown to Malta on a helicopter after he suffered from hyperglycaemia - which means that he had a high level of sugar in his blood.
The 36-year-old-man will be taken to Mater Dei hospital on an AFM helicopter so that he will receive the necessary treatment. He was working on an Algerian vessel that was 20 nautical miles southwest of Malta
