Thousands of people are currently making their way into the capital for this year’s edition of the President’s Solidarity Fun Run. This is the ninth edition of the event which happens annually.
Speaking to The Malta Independent, President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca said that “without a doubt, this event is going to be one of solidarity and generosity.”
“I hope that this same kindness amongst Maltese people is shown every day by being generous to one another.”
The run began in Rabat, while the walk began at various locations including University, Santa Venera and from Paola.
Funds raised from the event go towards the Community Chest Fund.
