President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca visited Maltese patients in five London hospitals, a press statement read.

While at the five hospitals - Guy's Hospital, Avelina Hospital, St Thomas Hospital, St Bart's Hospital, and Charing Cross Hospital - the President met management members from the respective hospitals, where she was informed about the specialised care each one provides.

She thanked the management of the hospitals for the care they provide Maltese patients, and urged the need to further strengthen the friendship and connection between Maltese and English hospitals.

She also presented a donation for cancer research.
