Delia discusses Pilatus Chairman’s arrest with EP President Tajani

PN Leader Adrian Delia made particular reference to the recent arrest of Pilatus Bank Chairman Ali Sadr Hasheminejad during his first with meeting the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani.

A PN statement said that Delia told Tajani that as Leader of the Opposition, he will not allow the government to continue damaging the sector. 

He praised the strength of the financial sector in Malta and its ability to provide thousands of jobs directly and indirectly.

"We are not going to let a few individuals destroy our country's reputation.

The meeting, which was their first since Delia became PN Leader, was also attended by Secretary General Clyde Puli, International Secretary Roselyn Borg Knight, and MEP David Casa.
