A motorcyclist was seriously injured this morning in an accident in Marsa, the police said.

The accident took place in Ghassara tal-Gheneb Street at 6.45am.

The biker, a 26-year-old of Cospicua, was involved in a crash with a Toyota Vitz driven by a 30-year-old woman of Pembroke.

The biker was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
