The Public Appointments Committee today approved the appointment of a resident ambassador and three non-resident ambassadors.

The four were nominated by the Foreign Affairs Ministry and were approved unanimously.

Carmelo Saliba has been nominated as resident ambassador to Libya.

Frank Zammit was nominated as non-resident ambassador to the Holy See.

Frank Galea has been nominated as non-resident ambassador to Argentina and Chile.

Michael Buhagiar has been nominated as non-resident ambassador to Panama and Colombia.
